Neptune Marine offers a broad range of maritime solutions, including newbuilding, repair, equipment charter and other complementary services. We work with our clients and suppliers to create and deliver solutions that are versatile, innovative and reliable. Not only do we focus on quality and craftsmanship to ensure minimal downtime, we also offer fast deliveries for customers that need vessels in months, not years.
Neptune Marine operates from three yards in the Netherlands; two in Hardinxveld and one at Aalst, and all of them are conveniently close to the Port of Rotterdam and easily accessible from all major European waterways.
Newbuilding
For over 50 years, Neptune has delivered top-tier shipbuilding services, offering flexible solutions for newbuild and custom vessels. We collaborate closely with clients to optimize designs, ensuring efficient, reliable vessels. Our three Dutch shipyards handle integrated production for vessels up to 137m long and 40m wide, guaranteeing quality and fast delivery.
Repair & Conversion
Neptune provides fast, safe, and high-quality maintenance, repair, and conversion services at our Hardinxveld and Aalst shipyards in the Netherlands or at client-specified locations. We serve diverse vessels, including inland cargo ships, river cruisers, and workboats, with expertise in conversions like workboat extensions and coaster-to-hopper dredger refits. Our ISO 9001-certified team ensures safety and minimal downtime.

Research & Development
Neptune Shipyard has its own, self-creating, engineering department managing and responsible for all aspects of the design process and in support of our yards and rental business. This can be a one-off customer-specific solutions as well as supporting the continuous expansion of our standard designs. The department creates the full design of vessels, equipment and provides mobilisation and demobilisation support. Equipped with 3D design tools, FEM and CFD tools we can provide the optimum product match our customers’ requirements.
