In order to be able to continue to supply our customers with state of the art vessels Neptune’s research and development people work on a wide array of projects to create future answers & solutions. Solutions to production improvement; to multiple fuel futures; to sustainability challenges. To optimise the result Neptune cooperates with knowledge centres, its supply chain and fellow yards. We prefer to work with dedicated ringfenced and targeted research groups rather than all round general research. This has enabled us to create first use solutions in LNG, Hydrogen, Methanol and active power management and provide significant fuel saving for our customers.
Design Assistance
Support is also provided to current designs and orders. With the use of CFD and FEM designs are weight, strength and performance optimised. We also data analyse utilisation of the vessel and simulate alternate use application or optimisation. Common value is the best product for the customer, now and in the future.
